The first Title Update for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is live on all platforms, and as promised, it fixes several save/load issues, improves performance and stability, and more. Perhaps most importantly, cutscenes on PC will no longer be locked to 30 frames per second when using Custom graphics settings.
Other notable fixes include localized versions facing a dubbing issue that affected voiceover playback and visuals in cutscenes. You can also expect to see fewer lighting problems when traveling through caves or indoor locations. Sadly, it seems that the unintended ability to double-jump when turning on Advanced Parkour has been amended, so it was great while it lasted.
Check out other fixes below and the full patch notes here (though be warned – there are spoilers near the end). It encompasses fixes such as players clipping through the Jackdaw while swimming and brawls involving civilians who don’t belong.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC – check out our review for more details. It’s been a massive success for Ubisoft with over two million sales on its first day. While its Character and Naval Packs drew controversy, they reportedly generated $1 million in additional revenue (with the Map Pack proving the most popular).
