Activision and Infinity Ward continue to tease Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s campaign, which, by all accounts, is looking better than last year’s Black Ops 7. One mission, “Traffic,” sees Captain Price teaming up with an unusual ally – Valeria from Modern Warfare 2. Check it out below.
While El Sin Nombre is keen on getting into Paris for some reason, Price is looking for an “archer” (perhaps referring to the artillery system of the same name). How this mission ties into the hunt for Makarov remains to be seen, but it’s not long before they face opposition from another force.
Not cops, but “they still bleed the same,” per Valeria, so it’s good to know the series’ penchant for corny writing is intact. High-speed chases through the streets are on the menu, but players will also drive an APC and engage in explosive shootouts.
Of course, the biggest reason for all these teases is to encourage players to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 ahead of its October 23rd launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. This will provide seven days of advanced access to the campaign, so you can judge for yourself how much of a leap it is over previous years.
