On the surface, Satisfactory might look like another generic factory builder that’s designed to have you spending hours on end grinding out resources for your next big upgrade. However, we found that to be far from the truth, and it’s actually a game about figuring out how best to save time and resources as you make your way to the next big thing you’re adding to your setup.
It’s why we loved it as much as we did when we reviewed it, and why we’re quite excited about the new Core Values expansion that Coffee Stain has just announced, complete with its own trailer but sadly lacking a release date.
It looks like this one’s taking us underground, where finding the space to set up your new factory buildings in light of a new narrative might be a tad challenging. There’s a one-eyed cat who can help light the way to an extent, but we’re quite curious to see how it handles things below the surface. Of course, the promise of new creatures and biomes is an equally important part of the expansion’s allure.
