Just when we thought it was odd that God of War Laufey didn’t have a Collector’s Edition, PlayStation Direct in the UK has listed the Collector’s Box for pre-order. For £129.99, it includes what you expect – physical goodies, but no game, disc or digital.
This wasn’t the case with God of War Ragnarök, so you have to wonder if a proper Collector’s Edition is still to be announced. So what does it offer? For starters, a resin statue of its protagonist Faye, fighting soldiers with Phranque in the background. You also get the Oracle Deck, which contains 51 cards, each with a “bespoke illustration.”
A physical mini-artbook is also included, and if you look closely enough, it seems to highlight an until-now unannounced creature, potentially a new enemy. The Collector’s Box showcases Faye and Phranque against a pure white background on one side. Turn it around, though, and you’ll see illustrations of what appears to be her insignia and her battle against Begtse as revealed in the extensive gameplay walkthrough.
God of War Laufey is out February 16th, 2027, for PS5, with pre-orders available now. The Collector’s Box should be available in other regions, so stay tuned. In the meantime, head here for the latest gameplay details, including the new Serpent Bow.
