From orchestrating increasingly elaborate getaways to exploiting Leonida’s wildlife, Grand Theft Auto VI has the potential to deliver some wonderfully chaotic open-world escapades. Rockstar’s previous games have already given us plenty of reasons to dream big, and with Vice City and the surrounding state providing the backdrop, there are countless possibilities to imagine – however, with some arguably more ambitious than others. Whether it’s provoking an all-out gang war, turning a superyacht into a criminal hideout, or watching my own misadventures go viral, these are ten things I can’t wait to try when I finally step foot in Leonida’s open world.
All details and footage referenced in this video are sourced directly from officially revealed information. This video is a wishlist of personal expectations for GTA VI.
Turn a Police Chase Into a State-Wide Manhunt
Not only does GTA 6 reintroduce a six-star wanted level, but VCPD’s competency will scale in response to your criminal dealings and ability to evade their clutches. In Vice City, it isn’t just about outrunning the cops; there’s CCTV providing clearer descriptions of your clothing and vehicle to police. They might know your face or hairstyle already; maybe even the specific weapon you’ve fired. This makes the likelihood of switching tactics mid-chase all-the-more likely.
But, actually, maybe just once, I don’t want to escape the police. No, I want to experience an entire state mobilising to find me. And while a genuine state-wide search system hasn’t been confirmed by Rockstar, that six-star wanted level certainly suggests some Leonida-wide carnage as Jason and Lucia stop at nothing to avoid the cops.

Use Waterways as Viable Escape Routes
Sticking with getaways, I’m intrigued by the possibilities offered by Leonida’s waterways and Everglades-inspired wetlands, and just how viable it would be to ditch four wheels for a bayou boat. I can certainly envision careening through the shallows on a fanboat as a police chopper whirs overhead, but will law enforcement continue the pursuit in their own tactical airboats too?
Another question I’m wrangling: how deep do these swamps go? Do water routes offer greater concealment than a familiar highway chase? Is the only trade-off that they’re difficult to navigate? While I can’t presume police chases will work identically across land and water, the possibility for wetlands experimentation in tantilising.
Use Hurricanes and Tropical Storms to Pull Off The Riskiest Heists
In other words: can Leonida’s Florida-inspired weather be used as an accomplice? Think about it: heavy rain, high wind, flash floods, and poor visibility; while extreme weather could certainly complicate a robbery, there’s an interesting possibility here that the chances for a successful getaway improve the worse the weather gets.
So, this leads me to a natural conclusion: if hurricanes and tropical storms are something that can be exploited, then perhaps this is when the riskiest heists should be done. I’m assuming, if this were possible, that the heist itself would become more difficult, but the thought that GTA 6’s weather can be more than a spectacle and something to be actively bent to my criminal whims is crazy enough that it could just happen.
Start a Gang War With An Entire Neighbourhood
San Andreas, with its gang territories and ongoing conflicts, is the obvious touchstone here. But, what I’m wondering, given GTA 6 seems all about embellishing what’s come before, is the possibility to surreptitiously instigate a turf war then watch as the violent consequences of my actions spread throughout the wider neighbourhood. I’d love it if GTA 6 gave us that power; to manipulate the criminal underworld into fighting itself rather than treat Jason and Lucia as participants of a predetermined gang shootout.
Use Leonida’s Wildlife as Weapons
Rockstar games have featured wildlife in various degrees for decades, from ridding Liberty City of pigeons to dodging a mountain lion’s bite in Red Dead Redemption. Leonida, similarly, is set to inhabit a host of dangerous creatures – over-numerous alligator congregations included – giving me a similar thought to the state’s extreme weather: can dangerous animals be used for my own gain? It seems likely, at least, that Leonida’s animals will have some organic effect on its NPC population, but the ability to deliberately manipulate wildlife would be great, even if it feels closer to an over-ambitious fantasy. Still, imagine the carnage of luring an alligator into a hostile camp.
Steal Something Grand
GTA 6 offers the ability to register stolen vehicles so you can keep them for yourself, but what I want to know is how extensive this system goes beyond cars, bikes, and the like. Boats, for instance, could be kept in the same way, but if you can steal and keep a boat, then why not a yacht? And, more specifically, a superyacht? And if you can hijack a vessel as ostentatious as a superyacht, then can you treat it as an offshore base of operations? See, the exciting part for me isn’t just in taking an exorbitantly expensive boat, but whether I can turn a billionaire’s pride and joy into my own floating lair.
Rob a Place Without Raising the Alarm
There has been some ambitious wishlisting so far in this feature, but this one feels a little more grounded. The question of whether you can rob a place and get out before anyone raises the alarm feels a little more plausible than sending a gator into battle. The origin of this idea comes from GTA 6 allowing Jason and Lucia to conceal their weapons. Theoretically then, you can enter a place without attracting attention, and if you can get in without anyone noticing then maybe you can steal what you want and leave without anyone noticing too. While stealth, disguises, and social deception aren’t confirmed possibilities, there certainly seems to be scope to pull off a robbery through patience, planning, and execution rather than brute force.
Cause Chaos At The Naval Air Base
Ah, Fort Zanduco. Surely everyone has infiltrated GTA V’s military fortress to relieve them of their P-996 LAZER. Who knows what mach-powered fighters await in GTA VI’s naval air base? Whatever’s inside, however, feels secondary to the act of theft itself. Given the base’s oceanic location, there appears numerous possibilities of approaching it from different directions, with the surrounding geography and water suggesting alternative routes, vehicles, and modes of entry. One thing is for sure: the base’s security will punish you for trespassing, but the potential for chaos is too compelling to ignore.
Test NPC Behaviour and Reactions

GTA has always offered opportunities to antagonise pedestrians and watch the resulting absurdity unfold. The fun is in discovering emergent behaviour that isn’t necessarily scripted, with bystanders, motorists, and emergency services reacting rather wildly to avoid the carnage they’re creating. While I can’t lean on any specifically announced AI capabilities, the point here echoes what I’ve already said – that GTA 6 appears to maximise everything that came before – and that should result in some thoroughly entertaining moments where a simple street brawl chain-reacts into an entire city block resembling a warzone.
Doomscroll My Own Criminal Activities Via In-Game Social Media
We know social media features in GTA 6, and gameplay footage shows at least one instance where you can livestream your exploits, although it remains to be seen if this is scripted into a mission or whether it’s something you can do freely. But, imagine if the latter were possible, or if a bystander will record and post. I’d love to cause an outrageous scene only to whip out my phone and see that clips have gone viral. Better yet, would my crimes become topics that are discussed – and argued about – online? Like the romanticisation of the real-life Bonnie and Clyde, will Jason and Lucia be able to sensationalise and capitalise on their cold-bloodedness? If so, it’d be the purest distillation of GTA’s long-running socio-contemporary commentary, yet.
