Valve boss Gabe Newell has confirmed that while the firm will be showing off the likes of Diablo III and Counter Strike: Global Offensive at E3 this year, they won’t actually be announcing anything new- so, yeah, no Half-Life 3.
“We are not announcing anything at E3,” he said in an email sent to the fan site ValveTime. “Really. We are not announcing Half-Life 3 or Portal 3 or Left 4 Dead 3. We are going to be showing stuff everyone already knows about (CS:Go, Dota 2, 10′ UI, …)”
Well, at least he mentioned Half-Life 3. Let’s take comfort in that like we have been doing for so long… so long.
