Splinter Cell: Blacklist dev diary talks about young Sam Fisher

Posted By | On 05th, Jun. 2012

Ubisoft revealed Splinter Cell: Blacklist yesterday, and even though the gameplay and the trailer looked awesome, one specific announcement that Michael Ironside will be replaced with Eric Johnson resulted in a huge outcry by fans of the series. Michael Ironside, who’s played the role of Sam Fisher ever since the first game, had come to be associated with the franchise and is a fan favourite.

However, as some damage control, Ubisoft has released a dev diary for the game, showing how the newbie is fitting into the shoes of Fisher, and what the original Sam, Michael Ironside, feels about it.

You can watch the trailer and the gameplay demo released for the game earlier at E3 through the links. Check out the fact sheet for the game over here.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on the 360, PS3 and PC next year. Stay tuned for more info.
