A couple more Wii U announcements incoming- EA

Posted By | On 12th, Jun. 2012

After announcing Mass Effect 3 for the Wii U at E3, EA was pretty happy and strongly showing its support for the new home console. And now, EA Labels president Frank Gibeau has announced that EA is currently working on two more titles for the Wii U and will be announcing them soon.

“We’ve got a couple of more games in development for Wii U and we’ll have a bigger line-up for Wii U than we did on the Wii,” he told CVG. “It is the first next-generation platform coming out so we’re really supporting it.”

“Just looking at E3 and where we’re at, we wanted to hold our fire a little bit on a couple of the other games that we’re working on,” he continued. “We’ll have more announcements this summer on the rest of the Wii U line-up.”

We don’t know yet when exactly the Wii U will be coming out, but we do know it’s releasing in time for Christmas this year.

We reviewed Mass Effect 3 a few months back and absolutely loved it. Read our 10/10 review here.
