Over three years since the release of A Plague Tale: Innocence, Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Requiem is now available. It’s playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch via the cloud, along with Game Pass. Check out the launch trailer below.

Taking place several months after the first game, Requiem sees Amicia and Hugo de Rune on the run. They venture to the south, seeking a mysterious island that could hold the key to curing Hugo. It’s not long before the plague, and its accompanying rats start swarming again. There are also mercenaries and other foes to deal with throughout the journey.

Fortunately, Amicia is a lot tougher this time, wielding a crossbow, alchemy and stealth to slay foes. Hugo can also harness his power to see enemies through walls or devour them, though he can lose control if one isn’t careful.
