The Silent Hill series was one of the pioneers that paved the way for the survival-horror genre. These video games were developed not to just toss jump scares at the players but to truly terrify and make them feel unease. Silent Hill 2 has been one the fan favorites of the series. Players take the role of Harry Mason as he searches the town of Silent Hill for his wife. With twists and turns in the story, a soul less atmosphere and horrifying creatures lurking about, Silent Hill 2 truly is not for the faint of heart. We can only imagine what a remastered edition of this game on the PlayStation 4 would look like.
