Alan Wake 2, Remedy Entertainment’s long-awaited sequel and top-notch survival horror, has gained several positive reviews and even some awards since launch. However, for those who haven’t tried it yet and subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium, a three-hour trial is now available to play on PS5.

It should provide a good idea of the plot, which sees FBI agent Saga Anderson traveling to Bright Falls to investigate some ritualistic killings. To no one’s surprise, they’re related to Alan Wake, the famous writer still trapped in The Dark Place after the events of the first game and seeking a way out. Players can swap between both characters at any time.

Along with PS5, Alan Wake 2 is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC via the Epic Games Store. The digital-only release retails for $59.99 on consoles and $49.99 on PC and recently received a new update adding Chapter Select. Check out our review for more details on the title and what to expect.
