Tindalos Interactive’s Aliens: Dark Descent has received a new overview trailer detailing everything you should know about the action strategy title. The story sees players crash-landing on Lethe, a planet teeming with Xenomorphs, and fighting to survive with their Marine squadron.

Players can manage their squad and give orders, taking down threats while slowing down time to make the action more manageable. Squad Behavior ensures they’ll carry out orders automatically, and you can use various tools like flamethrowers, suppressive fire and sentry guns to deal with the Xenomorph threat.

Though each level is unique, they’re also persistent, so any decisions made will carry over between runs. You could open up new shortcuts or landing areas for the APC. However, the Xenomorphs will adapt to your behavior, and you must track your squad’s health and stress levels. Take good care of your Marines because death is permanent.

Aliens: Dark Descent releases on June 20th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
