Ivan the Space Biker
In many ways, Gordon Freeman comes across as a bad-ass version of Egon Spengler with much heavier weaponry. However, the original design for Freeman gave him a different name – Ivan the Space Biker. This was primarily due to his beard and suit though his gruff appearance, complete with a buzzed mohawk, probably contributed as well.
