If the player succeeds in beating Invisible Mode within five hours, they will unlock the following message from Resident Evil director, Shinji Mikami

In one of my features of Top Secrets of Metal Gear Solid, I often stated that the developers made tons of cameo appearances. However in Resident Evil, if the player manages to do the impossible and succeeds in being invisible for five hours, he or she will unlock a secret message from none other than Shinji Mikami which states;

“Thank you for taking the time to play all the way through ‘biohazard’ (Resident Evil). If you’re reading this letter, I salute you! You are truly a remarkable player! I imagine you must have had some pretty memorable experiences along the way!”
