In an investors note focused on Activision Blizzard, Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia weighed the success of Call of Duty: Ghosts versus the other big releases coming out this year, including DICE’s Battlefield 4. Bhatia predicted that the latter would sell 14 million units at launch when it releases on October 29th in North America.

Bhatia also stated that despite being both games being released so close together, with Ghosts coming out on November 5th, they will be able to “coexist successfully”. He also predicted that one-third of Battlefield 4’s sales would be through PC, while 10 percent of Ghosts’ sales would be through PC, stating that, “The Battlefield series resonates particularly well with the PC gamers while Call of Duty tends to do well on consoles.”

Both Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts will be releasing on current generation consoles like the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC along with next gen consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when they retail later this year.
