NO ROMANCE OPTIONS
There are a few things we expect to see in every BioWare game, things that serve as part of the foundation that the developer’s legacy has been built on. Due to Anthem’s online-focused nature, a lot of these things are going to have to be sacrificed. Among these things is romance options. Sure, Anthem is supposedly narrative-driven, but it’s still, at its core, a shared-world experience, which means having romance options for players would just be in conflict with the nature of the rest of the game. Since E3, BioWare have said that they might end up including romance options for characters based on fan feedback, but as it stands right now, that’s all it is- a possibility, and we’re not sure if it’s entirely probable.
