Underwhelming Guns

anthem

A cruel reality will begin dawning on you when playing Anthem – many of the guns are terrible. Some Legendaries have decent perks while others are mostly rubbish (keep an eye out for the Grenade Launcher whose grenades explode 20 to 30 seconds later instead of being remotely detonated). The Devastator is the only gun worth a damn and it’s a sniper rifle that can’t even be hip-fired. You could argue that abilities, teamwork and combos are the key to success but if that were the case, why even have guns to begin with? How hard is it to actually balance abilities with guns in a looter shooter? Destiny, Borderlands and Warframe already solved these problems!
