Anthem Dev Answers Questions About Weapons And Clans

BioWare is taking fan feedback pretty seriously, it seems.

BioWare’s Brenon Holmes has been pretty active on Reddit, having been regularly answering questions by fans over the last few weeks and months, as you may know if you’ve been following any of our reports on Anthem. We have more of that for you, with new info and feedback that may be incorporated into the game having emerged, and this time it pertains to weapons and in-game clans and their workings.

In one thread, a user asked what the bullet mechanics in Anthem would be like and if the weapons would be hitscan or projectile based. Holmes replied by saying that it would be a mixture of both, depending on what the weapons in question is, while also saying that most of the projectile based bullets “move very quickly”.

There was another separate thread, in which a user went into some detail about what they’d like to see in the game’s clan system (based on what does or does not work in other similar games such as Destiny and The Division). The thread spoke about clan sizes (and how they should be bigger than the ones in Destiny), custom PvP, world events, clan rewards, and more. You can read it in full through here. When Holmes responded, he called it a “great post”, before saying that he would pass along the feedback to the systems team at BioWare.

Anthem was originally slated to launch sometime this year for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but it has now been delayed to 2019, with the game’s development reportedly suffering from some pretty major issues.
