With just a few weeks left to Anthem’s release—we’re already nearing the public demo for the game—it seems like BioWare has wrapped up development on the title. Speaking on Twitter today, Michael Gamble of BioWare confirmed that the game has gone gold.

In layman terms, this means development on the game is complete, and the code for it has been sent to be pressed on to the master disc. No more changes to it are possible (though we can and should expect day one patches, as well as ongoing changes to a game that is being billed as a living and breathing GaaS title). More importantly, a delay to the game at this point is highly unlikely. So if you’re looking forward to the game, you no longer have to worry about its release date being pushed back.

You can play Anthem ahead of its release, thanks to its public and VIP demos, both of which are available to pre-load now. Anthem is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22.
