Whether you’re looking forward to the Anthem VIP Access demo or the free demo, pre-loads for both have gone live. The demo client is available for everyone to download on all platforms. It should be noted that even if you launch the game, it won’t be available to play until servers go live or VIP Access is gained.
To download the demo client on PC, simply head to Anthem’s store page on Origin and click on the “Try It First” option. PS4 players in North America and Europe can head here and here respectively to pre-load the demo. Xbox players simply need to go to the Microsoft Store.
BioWare has outlined how the demo differs from the main game, including differences in balance and economy. The content includes some missions, a Stronghold, and some Freeplay activities. Keep in mind that PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold are required when playing on PS4 and Xbox One respectively.
The VIP Access demo will run from January 25th to 27th, while the free demo is available from February 1st to 3rd. Anthem officially launches on February 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
