So presumably, you'll have access to a few powers and abilities from the get go.

BioWare’s giving plenty of opportunities for players to try out Anthem before its full release. After the recent alpha, the shared world shooter will also be receiving a demo in February, a couple weeks before its launch. Recently on Twitter, the game’s lead producer Mike Gamble gave out some information on the demo.

In response to a question from a fan, Gamble confirmed that players will start the demo with their characters at level 10- which is interesting, because that presumably means that we will begin with some powers and abilities unlocked right from the get go, in order to give us an idea of what sort of combat and mechanics we can expect from the full game itself. Gamble also clarified that it’s going to be a demo, not a beta- after the fiasco that was Fallout 76’s “beta”, and how unchanged the full release was from its poor state, it’s good to see a developer being very clear with their communication.

In related news, in a recent stream, BioWare showed off some interesting looking footage from Anthem’s Strongholds, which are basically the game’s dungeons. Take a look through here. If you want a more narrative-centric trailer, we recently got that as well- you can view it hereAnthem launches on February 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
