Reports emerged yesterday that PS4 players were experiencing strange issues with Anthemwith the recently released BioWare-developed looter shooter not only making the console crash at random moments, but in some cases, even going on to trigger a full-on system bricking. It seems the issue has spread like wildfire, and EA has now officially responded to it.

Speaking on Twitter, the publisher confirmed that the PS4 crashing issues are being investigated. The publisher asked any users to share their crash data if and when prompted, and has also opened up a support thread asking people to post information about the issue, if they’re experiencing it. Judging by the number of people that have responded to it already, it seems like it does indeed seem to be a widespread problem.

EA hasn’t yet stated when we can expect a fix, but we can assume (or hope) that they’re looking to get it fixed as quickly as possible. For now, don’t play Anthem on your PS4, I guess. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
