Apex Legends - Vantage

Apex Legends’ next season, Hunted, begins on August 9th and introduces a new playable Legend in Xiomara “Mara” Contreras aka Vantage. After showcasing her lore and some gameplay, Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer that outlines her abilities. Check it out below.

Vantage’s Passive is Spotter’s Lens, which allows for seeing where one’s shots will land with a bullet drop indicator. This requires aiming down sights with her eyepiece when unarmed or using mid to long-range scopes. Echo Relocation is her Tactical Ability which sees her sending out Echo, her tiny bat companion, to a location.

She can then use her jetpack to launch towards him (though one must have a line of sight to reach Echo). Finally, her Ultimate is Sniper’s Mark which draws Vantage’s custom sniper rifle to mark enemies and provide a damage bonus for her team. All-in-all, an interesting kit that caters to the sniping play style.

Apex Legends: Hunted also introduces the Reforged Kings Canyon map, a new Battle Pass, and more. Stay tuned for more details in the lead-up to launch.
