Apex Legends Mobile Confirmed to Launch on May 17th

New cinematic trailer sees Mirage finally getting a big win over Wraith. A new challenger is also teased to be joining the roster.

After a report stating the same, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have confirmed that Apex Legends Mobile launches on May 17th. Pre-registrations are available for iOS and Android along with a new cinematic trailer for Season 1’s launch. Check it out below.

The mobile version of the battle royale title features 10 Legends including Mirage, Caustic, Lifeline, Wraith, Pathfinder, Gibraltar and so on. There’s also a tease of a new challenger climbing the ranks, one that Apex Predators leader Kuben Blisk has an interest in. According to a report by insider Tom Henderson, this is a mobile-exclusive character named Fade.

Like Wraith, Fade can also harness the Void’s powers, using Flash Back to rewind to an earlier position, Slipstream for a short boost to movement speed after sliding, and Phase Chamber to send all Legends within range to the Void. Though he wasn’t showcased in the trailer, Fade will reportedly receive more information in the coming days. Stay tuned in the meantime.
