Octane is the newest character to join the roster in Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends as part of Season 1: Wild Frontier. However, it seems that one more legend will be coming at some point, at least according to Sony’s official listing for the PS4 version. The listing itself says “two new characters will launch over the course of the season”, with Octane already being available.

Considering the last big character leak indicated that Octane and Watson were in the works, it could be the latter. According to the leak, Watson could lay down Tesla Traps, though we don’t know the full extent of his abilities. Regardless, it may be some time before Respawn talks about another character, since Octane only recently released.

Sony’s listing does mention “one new weapon”, so that could also be coming at some point. The last major weapon added to the game was the energy assault rifle Havoc (which doubles up as a hitscan beam rifle). You can also expect “two new items”, though time will tell what that means. Stay tuned for more details as always.
