Earlier in the year Apple announced their plans to launch a new service for their iOS devices called Apple Arcade. It was announced as a service focused exclusively on mobile titles and would offer multiple games under one subscription. Well, today, we got details on the service, and it’s both closer than you expect, and probably a lot cheaper than you expected, too.

Apple announced that the service would launch next week and would only put you back $4.99 USD a month. It’s much cheaper than one would assume from the service. It features quite a gauntlet of mobile titles from various developers, including the likes of Shantae, Pac-Man and ChuChu Rocket! They say that over 100 games will be available, and that you can eventually play all of them across not just your mobile iOS devices, but also your Apple TV, Mac and iPad.

Apple Arcade will launch to all compatible iOS devices September 19th. It will come to iPadOS and tvOS 13 September 30th and in October for macOS Catalina. A one month free trial will be available.
