As if the line-up of announcements for Gamescom Opening Night Live couldn’t get more packed, Embark Studios of THE FINALS fame has confirmed that ARC Raiders will appear. Announced in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, it has seen multiple delays and shifted from a co-op PvE approach to a PvEvP extraction shooter last year.
Closed alpha sign-ups became available on Steam, though these were subject to NDA. Perhaps the development title will finally showcase what it’s been working on all this time. Maybe a release date will be announced soon. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
Gamescom Opening Night Live airs today, August 20th, at 11 AM PT. It features other noteworthy titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Little Nightmares 3, Marvel Rivals, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. Host Geoff Keighley has also confirmed new game announcements and a 30-minute pre-show.
