With Arkane Studios’ Lyon team currently at work on the upcoming Deathloop, the studio is going to be in the limelight very soon once again, but there are also plenty of questions about what the developer’s Austin studio – who developed Dishonored and Prey – is working on next. Recently, Arkane Austin’s Harvey Smith, who created the Dishonored series, said that the studio is working on a new unannounced project, and now we might have some new tidbits on what that game is.

As spotted by Timur222 on Twitter, the LinkedIn profile of Lisa Charriere, who is a senior VFX artist at Arkane Austin, mentions the aforementioned unannounced game, along with some new details. The game is apparently a fantasy title, and is being built on Unreal Engine 4.

This does, of course, call into the question the future of both Dishonored and Prey, but the same development team working on a new IP, especially one set in a fantasy world, is an exciting prospect as well. It’ll probably be a while before we learn more about it though- stay tuned until then for any and all details we come across.
