They're looking mighty pretty.

Gears of War Ultimate
While we sit an impatiently wait for Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Gears of War 4, at least we’re finally getting a little bit of information and a look at the Xbox One exclusives. Earlier today a video popped up on the web showing the differences between the new creations and the original Gears of War games. Now we’ve got some brand new pieces of artwork that show off just how pretty these games could be.

Polygon published a very long piece, which indeed focused on just what these games are going to look like when they finally hit the Xbox One and we have to say, they look pretty impressive. While the remastered appearance of Gears of War Ultimate Edition is very nice, it’s the photorealistic look of Gears of War 4 that has us really drooling. The last two pictures in the gallery below really show off just how good this game could look when it’s finally up and running.

The release of the artwork that also shows the sharper graphics in Ultimate Edition is especially timely, since the game is going to be hitting store shelves in just a few weeks. August 25 is shaping up to be a big day in the gaming industry in general considering Madden 16, Until Dawn, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Dishonored: Definitive Edition are all getting a release at the same time. It’s also interesting that each console, the PS4 and the Xbox One are both getting an exclusive that day. While Until Dawn will only be hitting the PS4 as far as consoles, Gears of War Ultimate Edition is only going to be releasing for the Xbox One on August 25.
