Ubisoft has laid out an extensive post-launch plan for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, starting with new story quests, difficulty options, New Game Plus, and more. But what about future titles, especially following delays?
Inside Gaming has a new report with an updated timeline, and though there aren’t specific dates, it alleges that Shadows will receive “around” two years of DLC support.
Furthermore, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, an allegedly linear title with some open-world elements, is reportedly scheduled to release after Shadows‘ support concludes. It could thus arrive in 2027 instead of the previously reported 2026 date and will allegedly receive one year of DLC support.
Very little is known about Hexe – even its current name isn’t official. VP executive producer Marc-Alexis Côté has confirmed it’s not an RPG, and reports indicate that players control a witch, Elsa, with supernatural abilities. Head here for more details.
