Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Preview Highlights Consequences of Your Actions

So you’ve entered the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft’s biggest and boldest Assassin’s Creed title yet. After choosing the protagonist – be it Kassandra or Alexios – you’re immediately let loose to do almost anything. However, as the most recent gameplay preview reveals, actions have consequences.

The choices can range from minor – deciding to spare some thugs sent by the local loan shark will lead to an ambush later – to major. For instance, you could head to a village that’s apparently suffering from the plague. Upon reaching the village, most of it has been burnt to the ground save for one family.

Fight to protect the family and the plague may spread, but you won’t see the consequences of this until much later. In short, choices will indeed be tough, as Ubisoft promised. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be out on October 5th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Order the Gold Edition and you can play the game three days early.
