Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Launch Trailer is About Choosing Your Fate

Forge your own odyssey as a Spartan mercenary during the Peloponnesian War.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out next week, and so in traditional fashion, a launch trailer is now available to hype it up. The trailer is a quick look at the various sights and sounds that players will witness in their travels. Of course, it features both Kassandra and Alexios choosing their own fate.

Players can choose either character as their starting protagonist. As a Spartan descendant of King Leonidas, you’re essentially a mercenary traveling across the Aegean Sea to choose sides in the Peloponnesian War. Many other choices await, particularly relating to romances, quest decisions, and much more. Naval combat, a new notoriety system, and War System for taking part in large skirmishes also await.

If that weren’t enough, you can even face off against mythological monsters like Medusa. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out on October 5th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Those who purchase the Gold Edition can play it three days earlier though.
