Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is by no means a game that is short on content (quite the opposite, in fact), but even so, if you have a hankering for more to do in the massive open world action RPG, you don’t have to wait long to see your wish fulfilled. The first of its two planned major expansions, Wrath of the Druids, is coming soon. It’ll be taking Eivor to Ireland and task you with dealing with a cult of druids known as the Children of Danu- and a bit more besides.
Newly released images for the expansion (via @ALumia_Italia on Twitter) show some interesting things from the upcoming expansion, but the thing that catches the eye more than anything else, is, of course, the werewolf. Yep, Resident Evil Village isn’t the only game that’s going to pit players against furry beast-men this May.
Assassin’s Creed has, of course, been leaning harder and harder into fantasy elements, and Valhalla especially had quite a bit of that going on as well, so it doesn’t surprise us that its expansions are going to be doing the same. Take a look at the images below.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Wrath of the Druids launches on May 13.
