The number was revealed during a presentation at Team Asobi last month, so it's unknown if plans have changed since then.

Team Asobi’s Astro Bot is out on September 6th for PS5 and has received exceptional critical acclaim, becoming the highest-rated game of the year. While it’s receiving new “playful” levels and speedrun stages this year, the planned number has now been revealed.

During a visit to the studio last month, VGC saw a presentation that confirmed ten challenge levels and five speedrun levels as post-launch DLC. It’s unknown if Team Asobi has changed course since then. Depending on how sales and word of mouth pans out, the 3D platformer could receive more extensive support.

At launch, Astro Bot promises a hefty amount of content, with over 300 Bots to find, 150 being cameos from other well-known franchises like Horizon, God of War, and so on. There are also over 80 levels to explore across 50 planets with varying difficulties. Though there’s plenty for completionists to chase, it takes roughly 12 to 15 hours for regular players to finish.
