Daniel Cross was one of the Templar leaders

Daniel Cross was no ordinary Assassins, he had skills which really made the Templar order go forward in their fight with the Assassins. After fleeing the Assassins he joined the Templar ranks, becoming a Master Templar and a member of the Inner Sanctum by 2012. Although being effective in his work, Daniel suffered from the side effects of being in the Animus too long and as such had the bleeding effect take a toll on his mind.
