If you blow up the base of Collectors, then in the conversation with the Illusive Man, the planet behind him is blue. If you give it, the planet will be red

We all know that the Illusive Man is not a nice guy, and is fact a major ass. But being a Mass Effect game, the player has the option to be completely ruthless or follow the path of the Jedi, I mean paragon. Mass Effect doesn’t make your choices easy, or rather the weight of the choices will actually make you think about what you are about to do. In this particular scenario Shepard has the option to hand over the collector base which was being used in human experiments to the Illusive Man, or has to option destroy it so that no-one ever gets their hands on it. Depending on your choice, the planet behind the illusive man will turn either red or blue, signifying paragon and renegade option.
