Balatro came out of nowhere earlier this year, but instantly, the game endeared itself to the masses with its dangerously addictive poker-inspired roguelike gameplay loop. Amidst the success that it was enjoying, solo developer LocalThunk and publisher Playstack announced in March that the game would also be releasing for iPhone at some point, and now a release date for its mobile version (including for Android devices) has been announced.

Playstack has announced with a new trailer that Balatro will be launching for mobile devices later this month, on September 26. It is currently available for pre-order on the App Store and the Google Play Store, and is also available via Apple Arcade. Check out the trailer below.

In August, LocalThunk dropped a new patch for Balatro that added new collaboration content based on The Witcher 3, Among Us, and more. The game is also set to receive another major gameplay update for free sometime in 2025.

Balatro is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
