Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios’ critically and commercially acclaimed RPG, is now available early for PS5 players. You need the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Editions to gain access, though it’s out on September 6th for Standard Edition owners. Check out the launch trailer below, but beware of potential spoilers.
Based on the Forgotten Realms setting for Dungeons and Dragons, Baldur’s Gate 3 starts with the player kidnapped by Mindflayers. Upon escaping the Nautiloid, they must seek remedy for the Illithid tadpole in their brains, lest they become Mindflayers. This journey takes them across three Acts and various locations, including the massive city of Baldur’s Gate.
Available for PC (check out our review), Baldur’s Gate 3 has received universal acclaim, becoming one of the highest-rated games of the year based on critical reviews.
