Baldur's Gate 3 - Dragonborn

Patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is out today and promises to be a “big one,” adding performance improvements for Act 3. In a new tweet, developer Larian Studios also confirmed it adds the Magic Mirror for changing your character’s appearance, voice and pronouns.

The Magic Mirror will reside in your Camp and thus be accessible at any time. You can’t change Race or body type, and Origins can’t be altered, most likely because these decisions are important for the overall playthrough. However, with the sheer amount of character appearance options available, there should be more than enough hairstyles, faces, skin tones, and more for players to play around with.

Stay tuned for extensive details when Patch 3 goes live. Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PS5 and PC – check out our review for the former here. It’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S later this year, sometime between September and November.
