Mod support for Baldur’s Gate 3 officially went live for PC players in September, and it became promptly clear that demand for the same had been high, with the community have collectively downloaded over a million mods within less than day, and 22 million within a month. Now, another major milestone has been crossed.
Taking to Twitter, developer Larian Studios announced that Baldur’s Gate 3’s player base has now downloaded over 50 million mods since Patch 7 went live for the acclaimed RPG close to two months ago. Interestingly enough, as shared by the developer, about 10,000 of the downloads were for the purposes of renaming Withers to “Bone Daddy”, which is… something.
Larian Studios is currently working on yet more post-launch features for Baldur’s Gate 3, including cross-platform multiplayer support and a photo mode, among other things. Read more on that through here.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
