DON’T NOD’s action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden arrives next month, offering a unique blend of supernatural adventure and intimate story-telling. It’s about Red and Antea, two Banishers who venture to the lands of New Eden, only for the latter to suddenly die. Remaining as a spirit, she offers unique abilities to help Red on his journey, as highlighted in the latest trailer.

Antea’s abilities revolve around burning possessed enemies, while her outbursts are good against waves of enemies. Red is skilled against ghosts and spirits, utilizing his rifle for long-range attacks but also being skilled at melee combat. Players can switch back and forth between the two to combat any enemy, unearthing the best strategy to progress.

The premise revolves around whether Red will revive Antea, sacrificing other people, or stick to his oath and ferry spirits to the afterlife. Depending on one’s decisions, the narrative changes with five different endings.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden launches February 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out the overview trailer for more details.
