After a delay from last year, DON’T NOD’s Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden launches on February 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It’s steadily received some new details and trailers, with the latest focusing on the dire circumstances for Red and Antea. Check it out below.
As Banishers, the couple are struck by tragedy in New Eden when Antea dies and becomes a ghost. Red has a decision – does he fulfil his oath and help other spirits move on, eventually leading go of his love? Or does he sacrifice others to bring her back? Whatever decisions the player makes, five different endings are available to unlock.
Combat is real-time, as one can shift between Red in the real world and Antea in the spirit world, unleashing physical and spiritual attacks in tandem. It’s an interesting mechanic, and coupled with the wide range of narrative choices, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is worth looking out for. Check out the overview trailer for more details.
