Battlefield 4: A True Hardcore Gamer

Posted By | On 18th, Aug. 2013

A new video has been revealed, in the follow-up to Gamescom 2013, which shows a Battlefield player who has logged 8000 hours playing the series. That’s almost 334 days or roughly 91 percent of an entire year of his life, just playing Battlefield. At the end of the video, he states, “Battlefield 4 at Gamescom 2013. I will be there. Will you?”

Strong message indeed. Battlefield 4 marks the next in DICE’s successful franchise, and will build off the third game with the new Frostbite 3 engine, enhanced destruction and interaction with the environment, new weapons and a new faction along with new maps and the Commander mode for Conquest, and a more involved single-player campaign than before. It will also be the first cross-generational title in the franchise, releasing for Xbox One and PS4 along with the current generation of consoles.

Battlefield 4 will be releasing for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29th while a next gen release is planned for Q4 2013.
