After DICE dropped a significant new patch for Battlefield 4, Sony has announced via the PlayStation Blog that the game will be available for free to anyone with a PlayStation Plus subscription. However, it will only be available for a limited time – 7 days or 168 hours, to be more exact. You’ll be able to access both single-player and multiplayer from today onwards in case you’re curious about the overall game.

If you head to the PlayStation Store and search for Battlefield 4, you’ll find the full game trial currently available. It’s also worth nothing that PS3 users can access this feature – whether it’s also valid for PS4 players is unknown at this point.

Battlefield 4’s recent content patch balanced out several aspects of the game while also serving to correct several existing bugs. How has the experience been for you thus far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more.
