Weapon Balance
One issue that will never cease in competitive titles, especially shooters like Battlefield 5, is weapon balance. Though the base weapons themselves will require proper balancing, weapon progression puts another wrench in the works. How will DICE properly balance weapons, especially keeping in mind their various specializations? Will a weapon be over- or under-tuned if its specialization is under- or overwhelming? Again, this could be another hurdle to new players who don’t quite understand the “meta” as well as other players who have had more time invested.
