Before it even touched store shelves, Battlefield 5 was marred in controversy. Largely unearned, but things weren’t helped too much by the fact that the game launched in a less than ideal state. While EA and DICE have done their best to beef up the game since release, it seems major support for the game is about to end.
As was announced earlier in the year, the final content update will hit for the game tomorrow for all platforms. The update will include two new maps, six vehicles, nine weapons, three types of grenades and five gadgets. Those players that login every day after the update will also receive new items for a few weeks. You can read more details and a full detailed list of what’s included through here.
Battlefield 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with this final content drop scheduled to go live tomorrow, June 4th. Nothing yet has been said about the next Battlefield game, but it is not slated to arrive until at least 2021.
