Battlefield 5 may have had some content issues at launch, but developer DICE has been hard at work with constant updates since the game’s release last year. Recent weeks have seen the battle royale mode, Firestorm (developed by Criterion) go live, while there’s more to come in the future as well. We know, through datamining, a large portion of the things coming ahead, including weapons and elite soldiers. The next update, however, you don’t need to datamine- and it comes with a much requested feature, which is matchmaking for the co-op mode, Combined Arms.
Over on Reddit, DICE Community Manager Jeff Braddock announced the update, including the much anticipated integration of the Combined Arms matchmaking. It does include other things, including the official release of some elites, the next Trial by Fire updates, Quality of Life Tracker updates, and some TBD Community broadcasts.
Battlefield V is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our take on the game through our review.
