Battlefield Hardline

Battlefield: Hardline executive producer Steve Papoutsis has taken to Twitter to answer questions about the game. There’s been plenty of talk about the limited amount of information available but Papoutsis promises that more will be shown soon.

“Definitely going to be showing you more of everything before launch, including brand new modes. TONS more to show.”

As for what’s different about the game to justify a new purchase over Battlefield 4, Papoutsis said, “New MP modes/maps, new vehicles, new animations, new VO/music, new progression, new gameplay, new models, new weapons…” and continued by saying, “Also, there’s a new development team that’s been pouring their heart and souls into this game for more than two years.”

There will also be varied objectives for different Heist maps. “Yes, Heist will be themed to the specific map you’re playing on.”

Some people weren’t impressed with the graphics, even though the game was still in beta stage. Papoutsis says, “We’re continuing to work on the game every day to improve everything, graphics included.”

There will also be bigger maps in line with the larger Battlefield 4 maps. “We will have 64 player maps. Map sizes vary, we have larger maps than High Tension, and smaller. Good variety to mix things up.”

Battlefield: Hardline will be out this October. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
