Battlefield: Hardline’s Hotwire Multiplayer Mode Revealed

Need for Speed: Hardline confirmed.

Visceral Games’ Battlefield: Hardline may be delayed but the studio is working hard to add more content and innovation (their word, not ours) to the game. To that effect, multiplayer lead designer Thad Sasser has revealed the Hotwire game mode and even listed some interesting tips for players to follow. Check out the video for the mode above.

Hotwire involves the crooks stealing cars and driving off into the merry sunset while the cops try to stop them. The cops being the cops, they’ll have an inordinate amount of resources at their disposal including roadblocks, motorcycles and hover-boats. You’ll have the ability to form convoys or take help from other players when stealing cars to clear out the roadblocks ahead. It looks cool – now we’ll just have to wait and see how Visceral implements it.

Battlefield: Hardline is out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on March 2015. Stay tuned for more details.
