Even with the likes of id Software, Arkane Studios, MachineGames, and more under Bethesda’s belt, Fallout and The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Game Studios is still one of the most prestigious groups under the larger Bethesda umbrella. It’s hard not to sit up and take notice any time they come out with something new- and it seems they are, indeed, working on something new (and secret).
A job listing for the position of Server Engineer at Bethesda Game Studios’ Austin team is currently up, and it seems they are working on something that they have yet to announce. “Bethesda Game Studios is seeking a qualified Server Engineer to help create and improve systems for an unannounced title,” the job ad reads.
The Austin team is, of course, responsible for Fallout 76 and its expansions, so it should be interesting to see what else they’re cooking up alongside the live service online game. We already know that Bethesda Game Studios is working on Starfield, while The Elder Scrolls 6 was also announced a while back, so one would hope that this new unannounced game is Fallout 5– or maybe it’s something entirely new.
